Question Crossbow scope?

hello all

what's the difference between a crossbow scope and a regular scope?

the brief description here makes me think it's angle-related but idk

http://riflescope-shop.com/Canada/st...roducts_id=369

would it be interesting to use a crossbow scope on a airsoft rifle?
would the long eye-relief be too long ?

thanks all!

I'd have to guess the reticle is the major difference. Maybe that would be better for airsoft than a rifle one since we're throwing slow projectiles.

A crossbow is still basically a rifle as far as scope eye relief goes, you could mount a scope on a hockey stick and still need to set proper eye relief.

And yes, the reticle will be different due to tragectory, likely it's set up with graduations for different ranges, maybe laid out in 20yd increments.

This is correct. Most crossbow scope recticles are graduated for drop with a specific arrow weight at a specific distance (20m, 40m, etc).
