Question Good Online Retailer? Also Is this a good gun?

What is a good online retailer for airsoft guns? I found buyairsoft.com which I think looks good.

Also is the JG Dragon a good beginners gun? I want to get it. Also is 300$ a good price for it?

As far as I've seen, JG's seem to be recommended as a starter gun (Although don't take my word for it, check a bit on the forums to make sure). More threads will also say that 300$ will get you a playable gun that'll last a bit, 300-600$ seems to be the best price range to start off.

I would recommend getting a more common gun like an M4. There are more accessories available for it and if it were to malfunction, there are plenty of people around who know how to fix it.

The dragon, however, does use the same gearbox so upgrading and maintaining it shouldn't be a problem, but it is a really big and clunky gun. You can't really add any other external accessories like scopes or flashlights... and even if you could add anything more to it, it would look absurd. The dragon, in my opinion, is a really ugly gun, but I can't stop you from getting one. At this point, it's all based on your preference.

I read the Dragon is basically an M4 but with the custom look. Please correct me if I'm wrong, must just be groggy .

You can attach a scope or red dot to it if you want, but you'd need a M16 carry handle rail attachment to do it. Theres a tiny rail almost underneath the barrel as well (like maybe 3-5cm long) to which you can attach a small flashlight or laser too as well.

Yet again though, wall hanger.

For sure, but let's not make this thread too redundant.

If you want to have a starter gun that has an original look to it, while sacrifing some future modifications, get the Dragon.

If you want to have a starter gun that has a more bland look but a longer lifespan, due to modification options, get the M4.

Which brand of M4 to get? That I wouldn't know, still somewhat of a "Noob" myself.

If you can find it, a Tokyo Marui M4 will serve you well, though Classic Army is pretty good aswell. I hear even Jing Gong makes some decent models. If you don't mind spending an extra 5 bucks on a can of spray paint, an ICS or G&G M4 will work wonders for you, especially as a starter gun. The canadian legal versions of these last two also benefit from competetive pricing that's a bit easier on the wallet than a lot of the full black guns.

First things first before you think about getting a gun, get Age Verified first. There are threads posted throughout this site explaining the process, notably the sticky section of the Newbie Tank here.

Then when that is taken care of you will find that any gun you want is at your fingertips, and bank account. Most of the questions you can have, 99% chances that its been answered so dont be afraid to look around the site, read the stickies, and you will be able to get a better scope of the sport.

JG M4 is fine. I hated the look to begin with, but actually it isn't bad. especially when painted. example

The mechbox is JG's old gen1, so it will need metal bushings, and a reshim and re-lube. It's fine for a beginner's gun, and if you don't like it, you can sell the plastic bits as a "M4 kit" and buy a new front end. Done.

what? Looks better than some tacti-cool M4s and AKs out there... If I had one it would be my special zombie killing gun.
