M11 Metal Bolt Question

I just got a metal bolt for my KSC M11 and something seems funny. Part #27 which is the back of the bolt, the part that hits the valve on the mag, is metal on both the upgraded bolt and the stock bolt. Now what's odd is the stock peice seems to be heavier metal then the aftermarket part.

Do you think it would be better to put in the aftermarket part or the original, heavier metal, part?

Thanks guys.

I would think that usually aftermarket parts are stronger, but if the original seems to be a better build, well thats up to you to decide. One more thought,it might not even matter its going to take awile for either to get worn out,so when one finally does kick the bucket just switch them out.

Hope this helped and sorry for this responceto come 3 weeks later

Not to be rude, but do you own a M11 with a upgraded bolt?

The stock rear part is made of a pot metal. The aftermarket version is made of magnesium. I've read that the lighter the bolt, the higher the ROF. I'd trust magnesium over low quality "metal." My $0.02 ...
