ANV - and their props - a resume of 5 years of insanity

Good day

just to share a few of my suits we built for airsoft games. For your fewing pleasure. - If someone wants to rent or get something or needs help with his props - contact me via PM.

We build suits for
Sci Fi
Horror
Thrill
Action

fully armored - fucking hot - and shit heavy

but it really scares the living crap out of the people with the right " acting and combat performance".

the big Berzerker suit for instance weighs in at 130 pounds - has several fan and forced air cooling and programmable soundboards with the buttons in the finger tips on the left hand.

New things are in planning mode.

we love it - our clientele loves it- but wearing them suits is a sometimes a health threatening experience... if you do not pay attention to your core temperatures and liquid level.

A great thanks to my team mates who help me so many times to get all of them suits done in a stress with never enough time before the game.

And especially for their incredible endurance when they put those torture suits on and hammer and get severely hammered all day long.

the Nemesis: ( Resident Evil - suit almost killed me in summer )

Terminator Games: ( props and costumes )

THE BERZERKERS: ( used in post apo games - and sometimes for rent for GN )

Other props ( huge Nukes and little power suits )

I agree, the Terminators with the sound effects and the smoke made it really thrilling, almost pant-shitting :P

Fantastic work! Do you sell? Do consignment work? What do you use for construction?
In my limited experience, pink foam insulation with a thin fibreglass shell has worked well and been light.
I'm doing a life-size companion cube for my upcoming wedding.

But to answer your question about materials.

I am using to a big extend EVA foam and fiberglass and real steel armor.

depends on the suit. - Nemesis is the Vinyl coats and a muscle suit on which I appliead tons of latex to form the open and very musculus arm.

the advantage of EVA foam is that you can cut it - grind the edges easy - dremel structures and textures in it... glue it well with hot glue - and shape it with a hot air gun in any shape..

depending on the the history of the suit - does it receive more or less damage signs..

painting technic ( wash ) is key - in order to create the " used - battle hardened look "

a lot of work - but ever so rewarding when you have kids crying at helloween and adults screaming and running away during airsoft games.

Latest update -

we were asked by Aventure Airsoft Lanaudiere to support a Fundraiser for the canadian cancer foundation.

Here a few photos from the event.

we displayed and gamed hard following Monster suits:
The Guardians ( Berzerker class and Daughter of the Vril Patriarch - NOVA )
Terminators T600 - T800 - T880
Kroenen
Nemesis
Freya Zombie ( the Runner )
Zombie soldier ( 26th USMC - Vietnam 1969 )

for your fewing pleasure.... it was a super hard day - 30 celcius - and no drop outs - all them chaos suit pilots stuck through the incredible heat and strain and sacrifized a lot for the good cause... besides hundreds of BB impacts and lots of bleeders - especially the Zombie Girl Freya. lots of nasty leeders - she never complanied and kept on running and scaring the living Jesus out of people.

I bow deeply infront of my team as I appriciate their warm hearted efforts to chelp AAL to collect money against cancer

the real Evil in this world.
