American Airsoft Websites

hello

im in the process of buying an airsoft gun. CA M15A4 tactical carbine to be exact. I was just wondering why the american sites that sell this gun are so much cheaper than say 007airsoft.com. ( i live in canada ) for example :

http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERA-CA-M15-TCAR.htm

I am going to buy from 007airsoft.com (for $620) because, as far as i know, thats the only canadian website. I am just curious to find out why the huge price difference. I am assuming it has something to do with our government and their weapon laws. am i correct?

Short answer, yes... But this has been talked to DEATH. I suggest reading the FAQ's because It answers EVERY SINGLE question anyone can want to, or EVER want to ask about the Airsoft Sport

M15A4 is a very nice gun by the way

And welcome to ASC.

The laws in Canada in regards to airsoft are diffrent, its a very long winded explanation, all you need to know right now is that if you order from the USA. Customs will more than likely seize your gun and you will not get your money back. The costs are reflective of the cost of a special licence that is required to have to import airsoft, not to mention tarrifs, taxes, importation fees, freight, shipping and packaging etc.

This website offers a Frequently asked question section, but before you read anything in there. I suggest you read this.

It will reveal alot more information and make things a little more clear.

Too bad, this is Canada.

People do move down to States because of cheaper airsoft expenses.

Hmmm...am I being sarcastic? This shouldn't be true, right?
