Kelty Redwing 3100 is supposed to be the shit, I've been using its big brother the MAP 3500 for a while now and like it a lot. The Camelbak HAWG is really good too for a small assault pack. What do you want to use the pack for?

Take a look at the Maxpedition line.

The Falcon II sounds like it would be the perfect size for you.

I have a TAD FAST EDC...it's awesome. Might be too big, but they have three variants of the FAST pack of different sizes, so I'm sure you'll find something to your taste. They also have other offerings.

Yes, that would work quite good as well. However, only the new military version has MOLLE.

I bought the Maxpedition one Farmboy pointed out. It's tough as nails. Squishes down small if you've just got a hydration bladder and some small stuff....expands out larger if you're stashing a rain shell, maps, food, mags, batteries, water, first aid, tool kits, rope, etc..

Stashed lots of stuff into it for the last FTF milsim. And strapped my PTW to the left side while running a SAW. It was actually very comfy with all the weight...the shoulder pad shape and contour is aces. We dropped and rucked our packs quite a bit to swap out mags, gun-tech and sort out ammo throughout the day. I had my radio/headset rigged up in it as well...and mag pouches for the rifle.

Looks f*cking cool too and matches the Maxpedition carry bag that I use for work and CAPS.

I use the Maxpedition carry bag daily for work and it looks brand new after a year.

Farmboy was tops to buy from too. Took a lot of time to show me a bunch of stuff....and all I bought was a lousy knapsack
