LCT AK/TK 104/105 NV removing the front sight block.

Hey everyone so I'm trying to remove the lower handguard retainer off my ak to install an extended rail but I have no clue how to get the front sight block off in order to slide the retainer off. Any help would be much appreciated.

To remove the lower handguard retainer, first pivot the take down lever on your rear sight block upwards, and then pull up on the top handguard. It may take some force but it will detach. Then look at the lower handguard retainer, there should be a little latch, flip it forward (towards the flash hider) and then the lower handguard will come off with a firm tug forwards (only one, two max, this isn't playtime).

I have tried doing that but the retainer is only wide enough to slide out through the front.

I am at this stage but i actually physically need to remove the retainer completely off the gun since it is preventing me from installing the rail.

you're going to need to remove the front sight and gas block

these use either screws or pins to secure them

Alright thanks everyone.
Pin came out after using an actual pin puncher instead of the hex key i had.

On a side note: are the two screws under the charging handle the only thing keeping the front end attached to the receiver?
