WW2: KMT/NRA Loadout

Been working on getting WW2 German kit, and it's pretty awesome since it is semi-compatible with the KMT Loadout!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German-...lutionary_Army

IMO KMT/NRA loadouts are simpler since you can get away with WW2 kits from both the Allies and the Axis...

I'm planning to just use my German Gear on top of my Grey KMT Replica Uniform from Hikishop, just waiting on breast name tag :P

Places to get gear:

Cheap German and US WW2 Replicas: http://www.ahagreat.com/ (No WW2 KMT Gear)
- I unfortunately don't have real stuff to compare to with you, until next week's WW2 game... but first impression is the M35 Helmet is really nice
- Y-straps seem so-so quality but good enough for my needs
- Bread Bag.... Can't really be bad could it?

Hikishop (http://hikishop.net/wwii-china-c-4.html)
- My grey KMT WW2 uniform is pretty standard khaki clothing haha... For WW2 games, I plan to just wear my German Smock over it.
- The leggings are really nice imo, and seeing Kingsix's bandolier in person during the same order, makes me really want to get one too haha...

CWI / BB Dragon Airsoft: http://www.bbdragon.com.tw/
- These guys also sell WW2 KMT stuff, however I haven't bought those.
- I have used these guys to order other stuff, and customer service, and payment was quick and simple.

Tons of choices! Hopefully, we can get some interest in KMT/NRA/IJA loadouts :P

German Y straps aren't very KMT. Sino-German military relations were over around May of 1938. Y Straps only started in the German army around April of 1939.

A ~1944-1945 X Force impression is pretty easy to do. A mix of WW2 Commonwealth and US uniforms, weapons and gear (No Garands).

Not sure about boots though. Pictures of X Force show mostly shoes and sandals. US two buckle boots would probably be ok.

1937 88th Div. impression would be interesting. Khaki uniform + M35 helmet + Rock ZB26 with those Hikishop ZB26 pouches.Nice.

Isnt it Guomindang in pinying? I was taught to refer to the nationalists as as GMD not KMT

Nowadays, pinyin is more standardised though. It's like most asians who would technically have different last name spellings nowadays using standard pinyin.

Yep the simplified chinese reads it as GMD while the traditional chinese thinks KMT would make more sense.
To me either way is fine but some outsiders might find it a bit weird, a commonly verbally understandable chinese language comes out with two different written forms by which some might not be able to recognize each other.
It is weird!
