Nope.
You actually learn things in theses courses. It is not about having a higher FPS. Is it about how to use your rifle, be accurate and stealth. Also about MED (minimum engagement distance), range estimation, safety concerns, upgrade tips and methods, etc. I missed the course that was given around here and can't wait for next year's. The LV1/2/3 usually means you can use higher FPS because in the course you shown that you will not endanger anybody because you know and follow safety rules. That means pulling your handgun when the target is too close or simply not shoot.

I would think that if you are level 3 certified and have a rifle that shoots over 500, the field admins should acknowledge what you
have achieved and should (in my mind) let you play knowing you know exactly when you can and cannot take the shot. Granted this might cause a little static, but as airsoft gets more mainstream, country wide rule sets will begin to take effect. this will allow National games with Players fully knowledgable of all the rules and regulations. as it should be, as it will be. From what I hear there are some pretty good penalties for being reckless with a level 3 cert as well!
