WEHK416 Magpul MOE grip

Hello

I was just wondering if anyone know how to install a Magpul MOE grip onto a WE HK416. Are there any modifications needed?? Step wise procedures will be much appreciated

Thanks =)

I installed one onto my WE M4, all that is required is drilling a small hole.

On the right side of the grip, there is a spring that pushes a pin up into the fire selector. you must drill a hole down into your grip(the MOE).

Be careful how deep you go.
I kept checking, and it wasn't deep enough. The next thing I know, It's too deep, and I had to shim the spring higher.

Imageshack made me register my email... so I removed the link... F***ers

is the drilling also required on the RS grip or just the replica MOE grip?

The RS grip has the hole drilled already; it's just the replica that needs it.

The hole is to retain the selector switch detent rod and spring.. the Magpul grip is a drop in replacement for the original grip.. hole in the same place

oh sorry, one more question. Is the grip screw (part #80) a hex screw or a screw like this one?
