what brand of stock do you have? Did it come with a new buffer tube?

Sorry to thread jack... similar question. In my case, I have a Star 'clubfoot' modstock going on an M4-S. Guy who's doing it for me has routed the battery wire through the stock tube but here's the kicker: the stock Marui tube has no wire hole on the inner screw cap that holds the tube to the body. Are there parts available for this, or is it just hack a chunk out of the metal cap? sry, thx!

You can do either. You can buy a new buffer tube which comes with that thick washer pre cut for the wires to pass through, or you can just use a grinder to do it yourself. If you want a pre cut stock tube, let me know, I have a Star tube for $40, brand new. (PM if interested)
