CA M203 Requirements

Howdy

I have a barrel mounted Classic Army m203 sitting in storage, which Has yet to find its way into my Block 2 rifle.

I've hunted down the bracket required to attach it to a barrel which is on it's way, but it looks as if it requires a special kind of barrel with a skinny back.

Does anyone happen to know what kind of barrel would work?

its spose to fit on a standard m4/m16 type barrel. Not 100% if the one i had was CA or not but i belive it also has a sleeve, basically a 2 peice clamshell type bit that goes at the back of the 203 (well it attaches onto the barrel and the 203 slides over it)

I see, yes the clamp does come with the sleeve, unfortunately the simple diagram the launcher came with shows a barrel that's I'd smooth and cylindrical all the way down. My barrel has a segment near its end that slopes almost into a cone.

I'm assuming it won't work on this barrel?

Ah, excellent lol that works. Does the sleeve thing still fit over the beveled section?

It goes as far down as it is supposed to. The set screw can be a bit of a pain, I used some cork to serve as a spacer inside the nut between it and the barrel.
