Many companies make metal low/mid caps. The biggest ones that come to mind are CA and TM.

Buy the CA midcap package. UN company has it. A friend of mine bought it and the fit/finish in a TM is awesome. I use G&P mids - bad finish and more expensive but I still love 'em to death.

I've never seen a metal 30-round MP5 mag. TM and CA make 50-round ones. Not to say they don't exist.. just never seen them.

30-50 is not a mid cap.

Low-cap: usually 20-30 rounds (sometimes called "realcap").
Standard: Generally, TM standard for the gun. Usually 50-68 rounds, sometimes as high as 80.
Mid-cap: Usually anything 100 or over, but not a hi-cap.
High-cap: Annoying mags that rattle with a wheel to wind them.

50-round MP5 mag is a standard mag. MP5 lowcaps are 30 rounds.

MP5 standard mags are 50 rounds... in which case they're lower than the lowcap...

You're right, I should take into account every style of magazine before making a generalization...

Hey, you corrected my generalization.... I simply returned the favour.

Regardless, AFAIK there are no metal 30-round MP5 mags.
