Recommended ICS MP5 mags?

What are some recommendations on mags for the ICS MP5-A4? I read Arnie's review, he had problems with the TM mags, the ICS high-cap was flawless. Looking for input basically.

my friend had the same worries a while ago but we found out that tm lo-caps fit ok on his ics mp5a4, but for some odd reason the tm hi-caps had a bit of jiggling and there was play in the magazine, but then he got a g&p mp5 mag and those fit his ok, but if your still not sure on either you might as well play it safe and go with ics mags.

with my ICS mp5 i've found the ICS mags tend to wobble alot, enough that every 3-5 shots it will actually wobble itself enough that it will stop feeding the BBs into the gun, tends to be annoying having to hold the mag and aim, then again, a little tape should fix that

The ICS high-caps are ok. The STAR 30 round and Classic Army high-caps are the best as they have a squared-off recess for the magazine retainer rather than the beveled one found on the ICS magazines. The STAR and CA magazines will not pull out of the receiver on an ICS MP5 under any circumstance. The fit is extremely solid.

I have no experienced with mid-caps but I can check them and get back to you.

Basically, in order of preference for high-caps, you want to go: ICS, CA and TM. STAR all the way for low-cap (as there is nothing else and they work perfectly).

If I do drop and lose one, no biggie, cheap as dirt.

Krylon will be my friend however.

I saw that there is a big issue with MP5 hicaps, ICS MP5 hicap in particular. They tend to unwind and stop feeding every few shots. Not to mention falling out of the magwell by itself. All that on ICS MP5 and on some TM MP5.

Anyone got the same issue?

The TM 240 rds hi cap (the short one) is good. The 200 rds long version is not.
