The new Army raingear
Got it last week, its a big improvement over the old crap. Lot of pockets on this jacket too; never gonna use the reflective tabs on it though.
Pants are my locker at work, so no pics of that. Right now its only being issued to Reg Force pers, so Reservists are SOL right now. Dunno why they put black tabs an velcro on it though :/ For patrols, etc I'll probably still stick to the stealth suit though |

Haven't tried 'em out yet, I've only worn the jacket once lol it rained yesterday so I got to test it than.
Philstructo, I doubt/hope you won't be able to find the new raingear, especially since a LOT of troops dont even have it yet. An its still really new AFAIK, everyone out here in Shilo just got ours over the last few weeks. |

So how different are the jackets from the Air Force original? I see arm pockets obviously, but has there been any other improvements?

The jacket is the cats ass, breaks the wind up nicely and the pockets are nice.
Apprently to the supply tech on base here, these were originally 408 issue, the helicopty weenies get the cool stuff before we do. They had theirs since last year! Great piece o kit!
