madbull Silencer for m4a1

So I have a JG m4a1, and I was looking around one airsoftparts.ca and found this http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=620
I just wanted to make sure before I order it that it would work? Also, I wanted a silencer that could screw onto the barrel, not fit over the flash hider.

What are the advantages of having a silencer? and how are the more expensive ones better than the cheaper ones?

My old JG M4 had a -14mm CCW thread so it should fit.
From what I have read, the silencers work a bit, mostly over range it quiets or changes the frequency of the piston's noise. You still hear a noisy gearbox and motor.

To install it, loosen the tiny allen screw on the bottom of your flash hider, then twist it off and screw on the silencer.

When i use the silencer on my SR-25 it does the following:
#1 Diminish the noise of the BB coming out of the barrel.
#2 Makes the gun look freaking awesome.
#3 Can be use as a clubbing tool.

Traditionally in airsoft, suppressors have been used to cover up longer inner barrels, too.

The amount of actual muzzle noise dampening it'll actually provide is also usually rendered moot by the more or less equal amount of noise coming from the mechbox. Point in case, don't expect your gun to become movie-silent.

I found a red dot to be invaluable at times.
I hardly used iron sights, either shoot, correct, shoot, correct, etc... or aim with red dot, shoot.

It helps so much because the range it is most effective on is generally more or less your engagement range in airsoft.
