A&A Problem

Hi everyone. As the title says I am having problems with A&A. Back in January I order some items from Mark. Two pistols and metal upgrades for my mp5 and one of those propane adapters. I have a little over $1000 invested in these items.
In Febuary he told me that my order had made it to customs which was good. The last email I got from Mark was on the 8th of this month saying that they are still in customs. Now i can understand CBSA being slow asses, but since the 8th Ive tried to get a hold of mark via email but he does not seem to respond. He seems to be dodging my emails.
On top of that my buddy order an instock pistol in Feb as well and it was supose to get to him on the 28 of Feb and it to has yet to arrive. Mark has not responded to his emails either.
So needless to say Im starting to feel rather screwed over.
Should I start to think of maby taking legal action? Can i take legal action??
any suggestions would be welcomed.

$1000? thats it?
I've got 9 guns on an order that customs will be holding for a LONG time. They're not going to actually look through it anytime soon I think they just like to hang on to it to see what you do.
I'll ask him where your stuff is next time I see him.

If ThunderCactus is in charitable mood, can you pass along anything you found out from him about that custom shipment? I figure my item will be in that batch as well since I placed my order in around end of 07.....

so i guess that's why my order from 007 is taking so long. stuck at customs and from the looks of it, its going to be for awhile.

They must have heard he was stopping or something and decided to give him extra special BS. I don't know why they'd stop this specific shipment for so long, it's no different from the others. I'll try to find out what I can.

Only 1000 bucks?

I've got over 4000 worth of guns sitting at customs for the next 6 months.

Mark isn't replying because he's most likely getting over 100 emails a day just like this thread.

Last order I made with him was paid in janurary, M203 was delievered so was the G18c.

A metal slide for the gun was not shipped, and Mark has sent a single email between then and now, about a month ago.

I sent numerous e-mails and called a couple of times.

I could have dealt with the fact that the shipment was stopped, if the guy would have had at least the common courtesy to give me a heads up.

I'm currently contesting the charge with VISA, since up until this thread I had no idea what the fuck was going on.

I'm saddened by this thing, Mark has always treated me well until now.

This is my problem too. All he's gotta do is keep his paid customers in the loop.

I am not that much in the hole(~$330), so I am not even expect to be able to recover any fund if something do go south on the order, with airsofting being so grey in the legal side of things there are not many things I can do to get anything back. But like others said I just like to know what is happening and at least inform me like "sorry bud, you are SOL on that order".....

There is a certain amount of responsibility inherently gained when you accept others money for goods. There shouldn't be multiple threads like this one if a seller is acting responsibly and providing good communication.

Granted the wait due to the holding of orders is part of the reality of the situation for airsoft in Canada, proper communication from the retailer, about the situation, to those that have purchased product should also be a part of this reality.

This situation is apparently like the others, the goods are sitting and until they are released those that have items pending will have to wait or use alternate means to contact Mark.

FYI.
