For gentle breezes, usually the gyroscopes can provide stability but for prairie winds, heheh, thats a WHOLE different story

I think the price is more the limiter then anything else: it's not hard to build a drone that's capable of flying above the effective range of airsoft guns AND be able to transmit real time information back to the operator but it would cost in the vicinity of $3000 and require an amateur radio operator's license.

... although now I have this utterly fantastic idea that will probably never work but would be nonetheless awesome.

ive seen a video on these, they look pretty cool. but your right someone will shoot at it

And apparently, they can go pretty high to avoid shots, but all of this is just what ive heard, they do look and sound awesome though!
