Can't find much information on this gun, is it supposed to be bolt action or semi auto?

I have a Marushin M2 Maxi that did that kinda stuff with one of the mags I had for it.

Strangely enough the other mags worked fine.

The only issue I have with my M2 (other than it's basically a sweet wall hanger) is that the slight recoil in semi will move the select lever to FA after a few shots.

Alright, thanks for the help. I'll contact the store and see if they can exchange the mag or if I have to buy a new one.
