VFC E Series?

What are the VFC e series? Their m4 baby e series is inexpensive and looks like a great start towards building a pistol sized cqb m4. Are the internals crappier or something?

I believe the E-series just does away with all the licensed trademarks (no colt markings, stoner rifle, etc) but maintains the same quality internals as the rest of the VFC lineup.

Yeah, that and a few external components, such as bolt release lever and mag catch are made out of casted zinc/ aluminium alloys, instead of steel. Nice guns, just wish their pistons didn't suck.

The Pistons are ploymer and the teeth wear down abit faster than normal (compared to upgrade pistons) its the only thing that is so so in the guns. The piston head is great just the body is abit so so. however in some of the recent VFC guns that i have bought or friends have, The pistons seem to have improved compared to a few years ago. Any VFC guns now have a decent piston in them. I wouldn't worry. My m16 is still running the stock piston and is running like clockwork.

Go VFC can't go wrong. Best stock internals you can buy out of the box.

I believe it was the clear pistons that sucked. I'm pretty sure they have an OEM piston that's black (or an opaque colour) and it was supposed to be better.

Really? Because I recently worked in fairly new model, which had the clear piston (which was starting to crack at the front after one game). That particular AEG was a socom gear though, and still had the non rotatory clear hop up chamber, so who knows.

Which PEQ?

If you're talking about something like the big fucking G&P PEQ2 then anything. No one uses that anymore though lol, I have one on my SOPMOD but I've since switched to a PEQ15.

If you're talking about the smaller PEQ15 then hobbyking is your friend. Although I've heard they have problems shipping Lipos through regular mail or something but I'm not sure if that's been dealt with. I have the specs written down somewhere but it's not in their "airsoft battery" section. I'll see if I can find it though.

It might have been this one but I can't guarantee its the one that fits.

Someone else mentioned this one is known to fit:

In the same vein this should also work as well:

Note that you'll have to solder a new connector onto the end of the battery. I recommend Deans plugs but small tamiya will work as well (I think the VFC comes with small tamiya).

dat clear vfc piston...

junk.

change it as quick as you can.

Hate the self shimming gears too... they suck. though they work good enough till they strip.

Vfc e series gearboxes are identical to their higher end lines. Although I've never had one strip in any of my 5 vfcs, I've seen plenty of stripped vfc pistons, snapped tappets and unscrewed spring guides. That's not to say they're bad, but they are the most common points of failure.

I've never seen an opaque vfc piston, always clear or clear blue.

Hands down the best externals available, bodies and rails are anodized.

Could have sworn they did have it though. Possibly sold separately as an "OEM replacement part". That, or it could have been a Guarder piston that I was looking at/using. It's been a while since I've teched. I know Modify has different colours for theirs and certain ones are less prone to breaking (I think the clear-ish purple one is supposed to be one of their better ones or one of their worse ones).
