The real PBS-1 silencers are used on the 7.62 chambered AKs with the special sub-sonic rounds. The similarely designed models are also used on the modern-day 9mm chambered sub-machine guns like Bizon.
Convinced yet

The OC-14 he is using is chambered in 9x39mm.

Front bore diameter is .355",

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9%C3%9719mm_Parabellum

9mm bullet diameter is .355"

That tolerance is too tight. You would constantly clip the exit bore of the suppressor is you shot 9mm through it. You might be able to hand press the bullet through the hole, but you would not be able to shoot through it.

EDIT:

Didn't realize it was 9x39mm, there is no way to fit 9x39mm through a 7.62 supressor as 9x39mm bullet diameter is .363"

In short, if you shot 9x39 through a PBS-1, it will shoot a hole through the front of the suppressor.

EDIT: In closing, I'm not doubting that there is a PBS type suppressor designed for the PP-19, but I am saying that calling it a PBS-1 is incorrect.

Does anyone thing there are maybe different versions from PBS? Like maybe it's a "brand" name and they build a variety of products?

I guarantee if you use your computer machine and type in PP-19 and PBS in the same line you'll see some interesting pictures.

What he said.

PBS is a general name for the type of devices - "silencer"

PBS-1 is a model...

Closer view of the diameter with is actually modified for 9MM.

It's still some kind of PBS without the model number.
