AI Impact grenade -- Effective Range?

I can't seem to find the information anywhere. What would you peg the max effective range of an Airsoft Innovations Impact Grenade at?

Depends on the surface it lands on

on a hard surface 4-6 m radius easy

in the dirt, or grass 1-2m Radius

Depends on your throwing arm.

Seriously, what Brian said. I'd also add that throwing it on soft soil or grass may prevent it from detonating. So Watch where you throw it.

had the timed ones. Found them useless outdoors, usually ended up in a bush or a tree and just spat all the bbs into those. Indoors I can see them being actually useful.

Sometimes, at claybank, as an admin, you need to kill off a dozen people to even out the game, so you walk into the building as an admin, and roll out an AI frag to at least make it seem legit. Then it doesn't even go off, and then you just look like a complete jackass =/

What brian said. Aside from that id say outdoors they arent too usefull tho at times they do the job of gettin thd opfor to turn and run or duck for cover allowing you or your teammates to shoot em while they are pre occupied. Definately usefull indoors

LOL Happened at Op Rhino 1, someone rolled a timed frag into a spawn indoors. People yelled grenade and dove, only to have it not detonate at all.

Admin killing people to ballance the game? WHAT??

Tornado grenade work well in small empty rooms. But for places that are more realistic, with furnitures in or outside, you need a pyro grenade. If the direct impact don't get them, they will get the ricochets. I put so much fragments in mine, the place is saturated with frags and people get showered from all angles.

Hey has anyone tried them with .12s??
Seems like one of those few applications they'd actually be useful in

I would expect it to be able to clear a room in an outdoor field as well

In my 40mm snd the tornado i use to have i run a blend of bbs 12-28 even to 30 sometimes. When i get to the end of a bag of bbs i toss em in a seperate mixed bag for use in nades and tri shot zhotguns gives em a nicer spread try it youll like it im sure. And cause its just nades mostly you dont have to worry about running crappy 12's from walbobs or crappy tire
