other internals are good, but I hate the ambidextrous selector switch. I always need to switch on the 2 sides at the same time.

I hope you made sure your AOE is perfect or the next thing to strip will be your gears. I believe the reason for your stock piston to look like that was due to AOE. Seems like a lot of VFC guns that run 11.1v lipo end up with the piston like that or worst.

You don't have yours put together right. Both levers move together if you push one from safe to fire.

You'll need to pull the gearbox out of the reciever and see what's gone wrong.

nothing everything inside is all stock the gun i ordered from spartan Imports through my broker and shipping+Forgrip+battery+Smart Charger was 700 Plus shipping my place and the optics and accessories came to bout 950 and now im starting my upgrades:P

Well, I have my scar for almost 3 years and disassembled it at least 15 times, I never succeed to make it feel as good as my m4 right hand switch ...

ohhh. the gun here is about $380.


Edit: what kind of battery fits in the vfc scar? the ares is pretty easy just take off the butt plate and the battery goes in the top part. how easy with vfc?

Yeah the states is always cheaper and a numchuck works but is tight bu a mini works the best

I just upgraded to an 11.1 25c lipo. 9.6 1600mah nun chuck mini worked alright but not great, and 7.4 lipo caused jams. If you're going nicad, get a 9.6v 1600mah nun chuck. Otherwise I would say get a lipo, or like danke said lifepo. I need an 11.1 due to some internal upgrades that lanepratt did for me.

And I found the selector switches off eBay since eHobby was out-of-stock

what were the problems with the 9.6v? would an 8.4v be too weak?
