We m4 OB wont switch to safe or auto

So I was doing some target practice tonight, and noticed my WE M4 would not switch from semi to safe or auto.

I tried mag in and mag out. Tried locking the bolt back and racking it mag in/out to see if that might help.

The trigger is also locked back in a firing position won't move forward.

Time for a new trigger box? Or is this a problem I might be able to fix?

Start by removing the fire selector and see if that frees up the trigger. Check it for unusual wear or damage. Check the trigger pack for foreign debris (namely broken BB chunks).

found issue, selector switch was actually broken. Chinese pot metal is gud.

I've been meaning to get the RA-tech ambi one anyway. metal chunk was in bottom of trigger box. was the debris.

Now i gotta get the other half of the switch around the trigger and out the other side.

Remove grip and detent first.
Then use a screw driver to move everything from in front of the broken selector.

It needs to be pulled out the broken side.

That was it thank you very much, the Detent was holding it in place

Youll have to mod RS one or else it just shoots auto in semi.

Selectors in CAD don't have full auto options,

So you'll only be able to go to Semi and Safe, I have one laying around somewhere, was to lazy to mod it for my GHK :P
