Seriously guys, get the real by the time they will be release, you'll get enough money to get the systema.
As much as I like, I'm not the one that spend 2000$ on a toy I will use once a month at best.

If I can get the technologie and most of the quality, I'm all for it.

A retailer had a CQB kit for $950, new, just the other day. I don't think you'll see the CTW be selling for enough less for a first-run clone for it to be anywhere near worth it.

If it was $500 Canadian, perhaps, but it won't be.

We've sent celcius an Email and we've been responded to.

I'm hoping to get a CTW to review.. I'm waiting to see the progress on the completion of the CTW.

Eventually I also want to talk to them about making their CNC'd PTW receivers without those big ugly "CELCIUS" markings... Just blank PTW receivers. If their quality is any good... I'm sure PTW owners would like a CNC'd body that could be engraved with whatever they wanted (C7 Anyone?)

Won't be any more that price, that was just as it had been opened customs. I highly doubt any more will be at that price.
To top it off, how many of us have the experience to put it together?

I've had insider information about the price of PTWs at extreme wholesale. They're definitely NOT what you think they are. The manufacturing costs of PTWs definitely aren't very high, it's most likely just because they've had a monopoly on the 'LOL THEY R GRATIST TRANEING WAPONS' crowd that's willing to pay a premium. While they're great- looking at them in a training weapon perspective, I just don't see it.

Not going to bash PTWs- they're absolutely fantastic guns, and the last one I tried (belonging to a certain Kevorkian) is probably my all time favourite AEG. But- they're not 'leet operator training tools'.

Old, but still a major facepalm moment. She gives both blondes and Americans a real bad name. I'm guessing she's one of the 1/5th of Americans that can't find the US on a world map.

That's blasphemy. The Lord God Sytema shall smite thee by drowning thee in a sea of off-spec BBs.

Actually -- Said retailer made a big mistake on this kit.

He didn't realize that it was a MAX kit that cost him a base of 1300 dollars... never mind the import and brokerage fees he had to pay!

I'm sure by the time the retailer had realized this it was already called for and said retailer didn't want to make some one else pay for his own mistake so he bit the couple hundred dollars lost in order to have another happy customer

As per Ronan's 'production cost' comment earlier,

Untrue. Production costs of PTWs are RETARDEDLY low. You'd probably shit when you find out how much it cost Systema to make them.

Let's just say that there's a reason the Celcius can sell for under $500...

If all was right with the world, the PTW's price should reflect that too.

Because it is most likely composed of materials worth less than $3?
