Glock 18c = Glock 17 for a Serpa?
Greets,
I have the opportunity to grab a Serpa for a good price, would a model made for a Glock 17 fit a Glock 18c? Only issue I could think of is the selector switch, but I think it doesn't even come close to the holster. Halp? |

Yes it'll fit, I picked up a Glock 17 Serpa 2 years ago for a KSC Glock 18C.
Oh ya if anyone else cares, the Glock 17 Serpa fits KSC Glock 17 (duh) and KSC Glock 19s too. It doesn't work with TM's Glock 17 because the slide is slightly thicker, if you replace it with a metal slide though then you'll be ok. Last edited by Colin_S; October 21st, 2008 at 22:11.. |

Depends on the SERPA. My drop-leg for G17/22 will not hold a KSC G23F due to the selector, but the belt-mounted one will. The difference is in the slide coverage. The open-slide Level 2 = good, the covered-slide version = bad.

Instead of creating a new thread I'll just put this here.
For future reference a G18c aep (cyma, not sure about tm) would not fit in my serpa (real G17) without significant filing/sanding of the plastic slide. It is slightly too wide AND too tall around the front of the slide. Granted with the proper sanding/paintjob you cannot even tell anything was altered but I know some people would prefer not to alter their gear. |

I have both a TM Glock 18c aep and 3rd Gen 17 and they fit perfectly in a Blackhawk Serpa Holster for the Glock 21/22, THIS WILL WORK 100000% GUARANTEED. NO SANDING, NO DREMMELING.

Another option is getting the Nuprol holster that works flawlesly! https://www.tacticaltwo.com/articles...k-18c-replicas

Those "Nuprol" holsters are really just Chinese replicas of the IMI Defense holsters.
Another option is to grab the legit Crye Gunclip. Great especially if you want the flexibility to run lights. |
