Non painted non movable prop

Would that by any chance make it through customs if sent in that condition, unpainted, no moving parts. As none of you know, I'm in the process of sculpting and making various props and that is one I'd like to add to my collection.

Yeah, Halo pistol. I'm going to be ordering it off a guy I know on a prop making forum, I don't have the time or resources to make one of these atm with my other projects running.

Is what it's 'supposed' to look like, but I prefer to get the unpainted kit so I can do some of the work myself.

It could get through. Then again, it also couldn't. But since it looks like that I'm leaning more towards yes, it would be fine.

Heh instantly thought it's the Halo pistol, pretty cool prop. How heavy is it? If it's not too heavy I don't see why it shouldn't pass customs.

Please don't give advice on things you have no idea about.

lol, well it's not too heavy, it's polyurethane plastic. Alright thanks guys, I had to get on this pretty fast as it's out of a small number of casts and only $25 plus shipping.

Because we all know paper model M60E3's are legal to import lol.

Its a chance either way, I ordered a model of Jane Cobb's Pistol and Malcom Reynold's from Firefly and both came through no problems for me, however for a friend the Reynold's was seized and she's now trying to appeal it. But really should be a non-issue as its not a replica fire-arm as its not a real gun, the issue with the pistols I ordered is they were based off firearms that are classified as antiques meaning they should pass anyhow.

Well thanks for the info guys, weight doesn't have anything to do with it afaik I was just answering the guy's question. I'll be ordering it shortly, hopefully they let it pass, or just not look at it, either way.

My dads friend works for Canada Post. Hes some unit manager or something now but he worked as a package inspector sitting at a monitor looking at the x-ray/whatever screen back a decade or so ago. I asked him about model guns that I found from the anime series Hellsing and he said they would never make it through.

That was 10-15 years ago, no idea if anything has changed.

Hellsing guns:
