PX777 programming files

Hi,

Does anyone have the pre-programmed .sin dump for the Puxing PX777 to run it on FRS/GMRS channels ? (AFAIK it's the same as other Puxings)

Thanks!

I believe all Puxings use the same structure, but... .dat ? Anyway, if you can, I'd appreciate it. (Maybe ZIP the file and upload it so if anyone else needs it, it'll be available)

@Rugger: I already have the software, however I'm not too familiar with all the frequencies and parameters to set, so it would most likely be better if anyone had a preset file.

I have one, and it takes less than 5 min to program the radio. Why not just do it manually?

Maybe because I don't know what to program? There's several columns.

Receive, Transmit, Rx Tone, Tx Tone, W/N, Scan, Tx Power, Opt signal, PTTID, BusyLock.

The help file is of no help; it doesn't work on my Win7.
(if i
Also, I'd like to program the NOAA weather channel which most FRS/GMRS radios usually get. Does anyone know the frequency? (if it's possible)
EDIT: Damn, looks like the weather channel is in the 162.XXX

Thanks!

The PX-888 software saves and loads files with a .dat extension. You just download the file, re-name with a .dat extension and then can open it up. Since I don't have a PX-777, I don't know if you can use it with the PX-777 software.

Also, two frequencies are marked with ** at the end. These are frequencies that we are restricted from using near Canada because of a treaty.

Thanks EagleDriver.

I tried renaming it to .sin and opening it (.dat wouldn't be recongnized) and it rendered like that in the software (see attached).

Is that correct? With the empty lines, I'm not quite sure.

Ugh.

If I'm not asking too much, maybe you could make an higher res screenshot and I'll just recopy them manually in the software, since most options seem to be the same?

Then anyone, even if they got a different brand radio, will have a good start.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks a lot!

Alright, that should work, but now what I don't know... When I launch the PX6IN1, there are 4 options for the PX777.

PX777/328 CH128 MSK
PX777/328 CH128 CCIR
PX777/328 CH128 MSK+CCIR
PX777/328 CH128 +2TONE

And nothing is writtten either on the package or radio itself as to which it is... does anyone know what it does?
I saw that "PX777/328 CH128 MSK" does not allow to put an alphanumeric name for the channel... but other than that, I dunno.

According to Puxing, you should use the third one.

Cheers!
