need help with ca 40mm grenades

I have just recieved my grenade launcher setup in the mail. A Madbull XM203 and 3 Classic Army 120rd 40mm showers (silver top, Gold lower). The launcher came in a nice box, but the actual grenades were just foam wrapped and taped. I thought nothing of the packaging at first. For each grenade I loaded about 50% bbs and some propane for a demo. Each one shot right with no problems. Now for round two. Now there was a no fire, a weak fire, and a full fire. I then went to charge up the nades again thinking I did somehting wrong. Now I cant geat any of them to hold a charge or it wont fire at all. Naturaly I took the nades apart to see what the problem was. I noticed one thing right away. The gasket in the very bottom around the trigger looks to be home made out of rubber. And one didnt even have one to begin with! It seems like each nade was beat around a little. Knicks and scratches here and there. Im thinking from the delivery.

There are some things i am wondering with all this:
1: Does each Classic Army grenade come with its own packaging?
2: Is the gasket near the trigger supposed to look like its been cut with scissors?
3: Have i been scamed?

May i ask where you bought them from? That could give us a little more information to go on.

CA grenades come in a small clear thin plastic box... No I don't believe the gasket is supposed to look like that.. Take a picture for us.

OP, have you reset the valves? If you don't they will not hold any gas and vent right out.

It is occasionally possible to charge a nade a second time without resetting if the first charge was not enough to lock the valve open.

Since no one has said, to reset the valves, you need to push all the way up on the trigger button. You'll hear a click, then it should hold gas again.

CA ones are different.

You push the down all the way, then partially unscrew the base, then it'll click into place and you can re-screw it.

Well you're missing some ball bearings (unless they fell out).

I tried to reset the valves now and still have no luck. Seeing that I didnt recieve the nades in that clear plastic box I must accept that these are used. I suppose i will need to buy a re-seal kit of some kind to get any further.

I did. And I have no doubt that the launcher is new.
