what weight silicone oil should I use for my aeg?
hi guys, can someone tell me before i get it what wt silicone shock oil i should get for my aeg. should i apply it before i fire it for the 1st time. or is it ok for a while. is there anything else i should get for the gears etc.
i did search & there was just alot of conflicting answers thanks |

it's okay for a while. TM guns come well lubricated out of the box.
Gears use grease, not oil. If it's non upgraded, your gearbox is good for 10s of thousands of rounds without requiring a cleaning/re-lube unless something grinds/strips. barrels, I clean after every game. It's good to get a layer of silicone in there as the brass can oxidize and get a rough surface if not maintained. Typically 10 or 20 weight is good enough for your needs. |

thanks, what grease should i get, i did upgrade to a pdi 150 metal bushings, & reinforced gears. just waiting for my battery & charger to come. then i hope to be set.

i use 10 weight for all my lube needs

There is stock TM grease that you can buy for the gears and the cylinder. G&P also has a grease and oil set. Look for them on WGC or Redwolf.
