Double feeding on a brand new CA
I have a brand new CA MP5K PDW, I notice that there is some double feed from time to time. Is it possible that the Shreder Spacer that I have installed be the problem? The only upgrade that I did is a SCS, guarder clear hop-up and a tight-bore.
Otherwise what should I check for on a brand new Calssic Army gun that could cause double feeding issues? |

It's not "brand new" since you already opened it up and changed it
You either put the hopup back together wrong, or yes it could be the SCS nub because they are less forgiving than normal flexible hopup nubs. |

yep, I'd reinstall the stock hop rubber just to check.

Yeah it was the obvious thing to do...I don't want to open the mechbox. I bought a CA for that reason hopefully it is only something with the bucking hop-up ruber, otherwise I will be pissed! HEHEHE

Also have double feeding problems since I installed an SCS! I thought my problems were related to the nozzle but now I see why the scs could cause double feeds.
Any tips on how to correct the problem? I like the idea of the SCS for accuracy, but I have been trying to fix this problem for days now. I might just give up and re-install the hold one =/ |

always start shooting with SCS with the hop-up at nothing, these things DRAMATICALLY change the the hop-up adustment.

Ugh. so I removed the SCS and put back the stock "nub". Still double feeding in semi. This suck =/
The nozzle seems fine, tapet plate too. I'm lost honestly. |

My problem was with the ruber, I had installed a guarder clear, but the the little rim at the extremity of the rubber (were the BBs enter by in the barrel) was too big, and the BB were not stopped and were entering freely the barrel.
That's why I was double feeding it was not the SCS. I put back the original rubber (the rim is smaller and it stops the BB from entering the barrel by itself and no double feeding anymore. Maybe you have the same problem... |
