Any mag will work, though they may be fitment issues. Tell us how it goes.

I have this adaptor and a kwa g36c as well and I don't use it because I have feeding problems with it... The mags are too loose in it and even if you try to use tape or other methods, they don't feed well.
To make the adaptor fit, you'll have to modify it. Last edited by cbourdeau; June 4th, 2011 at 11:36.. |

My friend has one, and it works perfectly, he's been using it for years and has never had feeding problems.
The mags go in a little funny but they go in nonetheless. |

I have a couple of clients using these adapters and I've either sold or had every variation of them since Private Parts of the the UK first released them waaay back.
First Gen PP was ok, I had some fitment issues but only with certain brands of mags. Wobble was pretty bad though on almost every brand. Second Gen PP fixed most of the wobble but still had fitment issues with certain brands. Socom Gear was about the same as second Gen PP, but the plastic seems pretty brittle in comparison. I had almost every one of them break. The Battleaxe ones hold up better. There still some wobble and I've heard of some issues with certain brands but KA, MAG and TM all work fine with minimal wobble. KWA G36's do have to have the adapter modified for them to fit properly. There's a part on their mechbox that gets in the way. I haven't had to modify them for TM, CA or JG however. The mod isn't difficult and I can do it with a Dremel in about 15 seconds.

I use a TM g36c, with battleaxe conversion. Bought it from Bent Barrel too funny enough.
I have two types of mags that i used. Magpul 30rnd PTS mags - Were a little tough to get in at first, the mag release was tight on them, but has since worn in and are easy to get in now, they work GREAT, no misfires ever. King Arms 65 RND. These snap in great, but don't hold up. BUT, this is the same story when using them on an m16 so we can say that it's the mags themselves, i rigged a bungie system to keep pressure on the mag and they work ok. I haven't been disappointed with this system at all, especially since G36 mags cost a million dollars. Plus, having mag compatibility with the 99% of players that use armalites, is very handy. If you are going to use a conversion, GO WITH BATTLEAXE. |
