Purolator courier

Dont ever ship with purolator courier i have had 2 instances where i made claims and they didnt reimburse for damaged or lost/stolen goods. I am just pointing this out so you can all save the hassle which i have been through i suggest Fed Ex or Expresspost for best service. Purolator shipping lately has been the worst experience i have ever had.

Thanks for the heads up!!!...I trust UPS more. The thing about claims is that you gotta really really be presistant and bombard them with like emails and phone calls always ask to speak to the supervisor...

I've had the most problems with purolator (packages walking away, they can't find the place, etc) how ever I've never had a problem with getting reimbursed for missing packages, though usually it was things I had ordered.

I've had pretty good luck with Purolator actually. UPS I wouldn't trust to ship a paper clip. FedEx is probably the best, but they're expensive.

That said, I ship mostly by Canada Post.

Purolator??? LOL! Those assholes bodycheck boxes to see if it will fit in the glovebox of their car... which makes me wonder what it's doing in their car???

Forget them. I used to ship through them for a buisness I worked for, I decided to walk to the Post Office after about 20 packages got smashed or dissapeared.

um...my experiences tell me that with UPS i usually pay a premium BUT everything gets there in one piece, fast and efficiently.

also, their tracking system for express packages is IMO one of the only ones that accurately works. try tracking a package with expresspost...HA!

i get my oversea orders via ups faster than my canadian based orders with expresspost!

EDIT: case in point--> click here!

I DESPISE UPS!!!! I always get hit with outrageous brokerage fee's on international orders.
FedEX and DHL are the only shipping companies that I haven't had any problems with.

Sorry to hear about your troubles man!

UPS has been a bitch to me, same with Fedex. But, surprise, surprise, both of the latter get their packages delivered through a local contract shipper (Muskoka Delivery Services, or something like that?)

Puro's only let me down once, but the shipper was at fault too (the store didn't use any kind of packing material... and the object was less then half the size of the box).

Oh yeah, their tracking system is actually somewhat reliable. Can't say that much about CP...

Cyrus:

As an importer of goods for business myself, UPS does suck, but they're the few guys that are globally recognized, and their shipping software makes things really easy cross-continent. That and they actually take my personal Visa to clear the customs fee (something I was told by the Fedex rep they frown upon, for whatever reason).

Im a shipping manager so i deel with all these compagny every day. Fedex and UPS are to be trusted never ad a problem with does. Purolator i know to be rough with the pakage. Surprisingly i love Dicom, great service and low prices. As for DHL and Sameday right away, does compagny just sucks trust me, if you had good services with them its all because of the drivers asign to youre area because theire internal system is just fu@@-up.
