KWA SR10 Accuracy vs. ?
I've had my SR10 for almost a year now and I am continually impressed by its accuracy. It is all factory stock (including the 6.05mm barrel) and I can hit regular sized poker chips consistantly from about 45feet. Since I am fairly new to Airsoft (coming from an Airgun background) is this typical of an AEG's accuracy? Reason I ask is I am considering getting a Systema PTW and I am wondering if it can match the KWA in this regard. Any comments would be appreciated!

with the hopup properly setup (rubber & cushions working the way they're supposed to), adjusted for the weight of BB...the PTW is capable of stunning accuracy.
Just this past weekend I was shooting my PTW CQBR beside some other very accurate guns and it certainly held it's own and better if I did my part. That said...I've had a KA FAL, a scratch built M4 AEG and a dinky little MP5 that all shot just as well or better. I've also seen plenty of rifles that would never on their best day shoot half as well. So...don't know that any one make/model is necessarily always better than another...but the PTW is definitely built very consistently which then lends itself to being potentially accurate in general. It's got its foibles too though. |
