Is there still a make of a Tec-9?

Im getting an itch for another AEG again and thinking of my favourites the Tec/9/DC9 came to mind.

I've browsed around only to find a gun of the past - Maruzen KG9.

Are they still made today? I've seen a lot of lower end ones from google images.

I have been looking for one my self and I only know of the GBB from maruzen. Trying to find parts for such a beast would be near impossible... would make a good wall-hanger/collector piece though.

I have one. I would like to convert it to a proper gbb than a classic gbb with external gas tank. Perhaps a project for a boring summer or something.

First i have to find a close matching gbb to the tec 9. Converting to electric blowback would be so easy compared to gas.

tech9 fires from open bolt iirc... How about a modded mac11 bolt or any of the other ns2 systems.

a gbb mp40 would be best but that would be a waste of another perdy gun... And that's a 8mm.

Perhaps a tf-11 then. Its an ugly gun and its a gbb. Although, the barrel isnt long enough. But that is a small problem compared to the fitting of internals and matching the magazine slot.

I believe that this project will either:

A) never get off the ground.

B) fail.

tec-9's seems to be like Auto-9's, extinct and very rare on the market.

Such a sad thing to say about such a great gun

Yes, I remember seeing a guy with one at Defcon outdoor, sounded nice

I'd rather see a modern airsoft Calico tho, the classic MGC one is nice but a propane one would be nicer!
