Refilling Co2 magazines
I have KJW KP-06 with Co2 magazine. What I don't get is, how am I supposed to fill and refill it?... the magazine has integrated tank with spot for "needle" on it, no exchangeable cartridges. I can see lots of green gas canisters with applicators, but can't find any Co2.
Am I supposed to get one of these chargers (or adapters) and use it with single use Co2 cartridges? Are there no canisters that work like green gas canisters? Any advice would be appreciated, |

Post a picture. It sounds like you have a green gas mag.

CO2 magazines use the disposable 12g CO2 cartridges.
If your magazine doesn't have a huge threaded cap on the bottom for installing the CO2 cartridges, then it is not a CO2 mag. You need to slide the baseplate of the mag off to get to it. If your mag has a shrader valve on the bottom (the thing used to fill green gas mags), then it's a green gas mag. |

THANK YOU, everyone! In my defense, the gun arrived with wrong manual: it clearly shows feeding the mag from gas canister. I did try to slide off the bottom plate but didn't see the release on it - it was covered by a sticker :-)
I do appreciate you taking time to explain. Last edited by librarian; August 17th, 2018 at 16:22.. |
