As long as you don't change the gears/spring/motor too radically the stock one will be excellent. Once you start getting into high powered springs and turbo motors, you'll need to up the current rating on the fuse.
if its cool with everyone (i apologize in advance) im going to hijack this thread. with regards to your high spring comment. what is considered a high spring. if i put in a Prometheus 110 spring, do i have to get stronger gears and replace the bushings/spring guide? or will i be fine. basically, i planned on upgrade the nozzel, the spring and a TB inner barrel (Prom. 6.03) and leave it at that. do i need to also upgrade those other parts, or do you think i will be okay?

nozzel, bushings, and spring guides

are all that u need. You really don't need a TB right away, the original TM M14 accuracy is quite excellent

All AEG's have fuses by default. There is NEVER any reason to remove the fuse in an AEG. A properly installed fuse will not offer enough resistance to have any negative effects on performance. Honestly, you have nothing to gain by removing it and a lot to lose if something goes wrong.

+1 I would never remove the fuse , only to replace a blown one.

There's a few availabe in the buy and sell area of the fourms and at good prices too, you need to get age verified to see them though.
