Need some help with a GHK AKM (GKM).
Hi all,
I'm a new happy owner of the GHK AKM (also goes by GKM). I have a few questions about modifications. First thing I noticed is that the front upper foregrip is slightly loose. Is there any way to tighten this? I also have full steel parts for the bolt, piston, sear. Am getting the recoil spring and TNT hop up barrel. Still 50/50 about the full travel kit. Anyone have any experience? Thank you in advance! |

Foregrip? Do you mean the hand guard?

I can help you out; I run an AK-74 as my main gun. But you're gonna have to be more specific.
I.E. Brands of the parts you've purchased or want, what type of performance you're looking to get out of the rifle, etc. The TNT hop and barrel is a good start, but you're gonna want to use at least 0.3g BBs; it applies a lot of hop pressure. Another important thing is to file the mag's feedlips open. A 5.5mm chainsaw file is the perfect size. This will make loading and feeding smoother and leave the gun less likely to misfeed. The feedlips should be slightly rounded inside, enough that you can load a few BBs by hand.
