GBBR Maintenance guide

Hey all, Ive tried searching for a guide on here on maintaning and cleaning/ oiling GBBRs, specifically WE M4s, but can't find anything. Is there one on here or should I dive into youtube and try to find a reliable guide?

generally anything that is a surface of contact for moving parts, anything that acts as a seal for gas, has to be lubed. You can pretty much see the wearing on the parts of your gun by opening it up. Don't forget to maintain your mags as well, which is the same process but you're unlikely going to open up your gun unless there's debris stuck in it. I usually empty the gas, one drop on the output valve, give it a little "massage", one drop on the fill valve and fill the mag just a little bit to put pressure inside the mag.

Here's a good guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYGqq0d7yzM

Read the mega thread on here. Lots of info there.

They like to run wet, so heavy silicon oil in the trigger pack, silicon grease or similar for the bolt and buffer and regular light silicon oil in the mags.

Generally, I use grease on 11, 1, 5 and 7 o'clock positions on the bolt carrier.

Grease on charging handle 12, 9 and 3 o'clock positions.

FCG will get light oiling, only when necessary.

One place people neglect in the buffer tube. Most of the problems people have with aftermarket bolt carriers getting stuck half charged is because the rear of the bolt carrier on the 12 o'clock position is dry. A little grease here helps significantly.

Other than that, inner barrel and hop up bucking dry and clean.
