I can order it directly from VFC.
I just never did cause I don't see any reason to using a scope/rds. I'm old fashion.

Turns out my problem with the bbs falling out had to do with the loading nozzle. It was actually longer than it should be and it was pushing bbs past the hopup. It turned out that VFC new about it and they sent me a new one for free.

I used to be old school too but nowadays it is really hard to compete in CQB with the players who have rds.

I have tried AEG rds mounts but they seem to be too narrow for this gun. In the end I bought the $44 VFC one from redwolf and am very happy with it. The only thing is you can only use real steel rds on this gun. Recoil on my MP5 broke two replica RDS so I started buying Sightmark which does the trick.

Okay in my eyes this is what happened.

there is a blazing fire, you stuffed your hand in the fire, and your like " OW, it hurts"

then you stick your hand in the fire again and then your like " Ow it does really hurt "

and now you decided after 2 burns you're going to soothe your hand with some ice,

VFC mp5 GBB Navy edition:
I had to remove the flashhider inorder to install the tactical flashlight. Its mostly stock at the moment, but i've replaced the feeding ramp to the Crusader one. The mags are now rock solid in the gun. I will work on modifying the hop up unit once i get more time.

most of us have version 1, you can tell by looking at the upper body, the stamping on it would say KAL. 9MM. Where as the new body which are version 3's should have trademarks on the front and back. It will say CAL. 9MM. And there will be a stamping saying "Made in W-Germany".

Its decent. Recoil spring is a little weak IMO. Will need to replace it. Cyclic rate was ok though and kicks pretty decent. I can't say much for the gas efficiency but the mag was pretty cold when i test fired it and it still emptied the mag.

Get a 120% recoil spring, anything more is really rough on the guns internals you will notice bolt carrier wear really quick.

Thought id put this here as this seems to be the best source of general VFC info.

Can anyone link me to a contact page for VFC please, ive managed to tangle and stretch the nozzle return spring on my MP7 and cant find a replacement anywhere.
