WE M14 EBR GBBR Gas Ejection Problem

Hey guys, I could really use some help. I have a WE M14 EBR that likes to kick the gas out of the mag on the first trigger pull. It doesn't always do it, but it's a good 3/5 times. I'm not sure where to begin to solve this problem. I've been searching for info but haven't found a whole lot. Any help would be great!

What is the condition of your trigger pack? Have any pics of it? It may be starting to crack.

Sometimes if my mag doesn't seat properly I get that same gaas dump first shot.

You could load a few mags and really make sure the mag is seated well.. see if that stops the problem?

Do you still have the stock dust cover? Because one problem i had was the roller on the side, the pin holding it in came loose.
This caused the roller to wobble and in turn jam the bolt, so when you pull the trigger it would just spew all the gas.

So to check id say is fill up a mag and rack the bolt. Before you fire every shot try a small tug on the bolt, if it feels rather stiff on a random shot and it spews gas right after then that is problem.

All i did was JB Weld the pin back down and it all works fine again!

Does the bolt move all the way back and then vent the gas?

It seemed to me that the bolt would go all the way back or up to 70%. But I would also some times get a shot, maybe two off before it would vent. I took it apart and lubed a bunch of the moving components and it seems to be doing ok. I have gone 5-0 on tests after lubing. (I was at 3/5 failure before)
