AEG blowback

Well, I had a tech switch the spring in my TR16, I'm not trying diminish his work, although ever sense my bolt doesn't move while firing so I'm not getting any blowback feel at all, just wondering what the problem might be before I inquire

Does it not move at all? It's possible that a little locking piece fell off or wasn't put on. It attaches the blowback piston to the mock bolt. Its also possible that your tech removed the blowback completely, as its bad for the gun.

Agree with Pesto that either the piece that contacts the piston was removed or disconnected from the bolt.
In the pic below, the block that's removed goes has a tab that into the gearbox and contacts the piston which causes it to move back. In turn this block was screwed to the bolt plate to cause it to resemble blowback.
I disconnected mine due to it causing un-needed stress on the piston teeth.

In short. Find out from your tech if this was an intentional mod and if so, thank him.

Ah, it's better that way? quite new to the sport so I wouldn't know, just realized it no longer had any ''blowback''

And no, when firing it doesn't move at all, for it to move I must do so manually, like in your picture, that silver part no longer moves, just stays back.
doubt it was intentional though, was just taken in for the spring to be changed so I could use the gun indoors
