Serpa Glock Holster

Hi,

I just recently got my glock and finally fixed the hopup stripped screw..what a nightmare..

anyway, this is for a WE Glock 17 Gen 3..
So I'm debating on getting a Serpa Glock 21 Sportster & Strike Platform to be mounted on a battle molle belt (has 3 loops horizontally)

Is there anything bad or things I have to be aware of?
First time reaching into holsters that is not just fabric...

Some airsoft glock models are not 1:1 with their real steel counterparts, so you should be aware of that when ordering your Serpa.

Further, Serpa's are infamous for people blaming the holster for being designed with a flaw that promotes premature firing when drawing. I maintain that this is purely operator error. Not as much of a big deal when it's airsoft but it's an indicator of trigger discipline.

Yeah I'm aware that WE glock 17 fits with the G21 holster..
I'm guessing people accidentally place their trigger finger on the trigger while drawing it? If the holster itself has something that hits the trigger and fires that's a safety problem...

but as long it's a good holster in general is good..

Serpa Glock Holster

Tacticalholsters.com

Their Glock 17 holsters fits the TM/WE like a glove

I have an XST for my G18 (Guarder frame, Shooter Design Slide) and it's awesome
Especially with their RTI system that allows for a real quick detach/attach; get multiple RTI wheel for the different locations you want and you're golden

A bit on the pricey side, and made to order so a bit long to get too (4+ weeks)

However, some retailers stocks most common holsters like the glock.

You can try shop.rampartcorp.com (Canadian, superb service and quick)

Edit: the brand is actually G-Code
Will help you if you want to search

XST is their level II line (forgot the level I name)

RTI is their quick detach platform
If you get a traditional holster without the RTI system you don't need the RTI Wheel thingy

Yup it's a good holster. Almost indestructable tbh. So long as it fits.

Nothing will hit the trigger, it's just that the retention release button is conveniently placed over the trigger guard and an "operator's" finger might slip into it and press the trigger when drawing.

you have to be pretty inept to pull the trigger while drawing. The release is in line with the frame for perfect trigger discipline. I spent more than a few minutes trying to improperly draw in order to get the gun to fire. You have to be REALLY trying hard to fuck shit up to fire the gun on the draw.

I've had 3 serpas with all 3 of my guns, 226, 5-7 and hk45. I tried to fuck up the draw on all 3 of them over the years and don't understand how people can manage to do it.

I heard about G-code yeah..but I do have a budget range I need to consider..it's a bit too much for me right now after buying a new gun, mags, then dropped 2k on my computers..2.5k on my 4 month tuition...

Um, I saw some videos of people drawing...but their trigger finger is actually above the trigger thanks to the button...

but anyway, thanks for the input, i will be buying this
