AK-47 low caps (30Rds) by Star work VERY well with ICS AK74.
If anybody has 74 type mags (70Rds) in Toronto area I will be more that glad to try them out.

Ya, I'm pretty sure they are one properly. I know what you mean when you say it swings back and then forward to get it out and back in. The 2 screws that hols the front end in place was in the right slot so its all right. Plus i tested it out with the hicaps that came with the gun and it worked.

*sorry for double post*

The only reason why i want to get Ak74 mags and only ak74 mags is because real Ak74s' can only fit Ak74 magazines. It would look very awkward if it had a Ak47 mag in it.

it would be greatly appreciated if some one who has any of the Ak47 or Ak74 from any company to try it in there ICS AK.

oh and im also looking for some Ak74 mags my self since im selling my STAR ones right now.

I have the same Star ak74 mid cap mags (160rds) for my TM ak beita spetsnaz and I have the same problem.

First I had to file the mag just to be able to insert it in the magwell (it was too big) now it fits nicely but it wont feed. I am sure it is the same issue you are having. I will try and fix this. If I succeed I let you know.

Does any one know if the STAR Ak74 locaps work in the ICS AK? The Star Ak47 real caps seem to be.

I'd like to know too. And not to threadjack, but if anyone knows if they work in the CA AK74 (xx105, don't remember what CA calls it exactly) that'd be good, too.

With a lot of new AEG brands out, most being similar models/variants, plus all the third party aftermarket stuff, it might be useful to try and "map out" cross compatibility between different brands for stuff like mags.

Drake, I have 2 AK74 style mags, one 30rd and another one appeares to be a midcap. God knows what make they are. Might be Star or G&P. Realcap wasn't working at all last time I checked. Midcap worked fine. I'll try it again, probably tomorrow or on Sunday. Just to be sure.

Berkut, We will test AK74 mags at EOTEC game, I'm coming there for sure. I can also bring TM locaps and G&P AK47 midcaps, for testing. We can also finally test my PSO1

sherlockbonez, midcaps suck indeed, only when 100 or more bbs loaded. Never had a single jam with G&P AK47 midcaps ever since I started to load them as locaps.

I'm using RPK for that game. You can have all 14 of my locaps and midcaps, plus 2 hicaps
