Condor chest rig alterations
I grabbed this condor chest rig: http://www.condoroutdoor.com/Condor-CS.aspx
I really like the colour and design, but it doesn't fit too snug. I'm 6'1, 180lbs and even with the straps at their tightest I find the rig doesn't go as high as I'd like and shifts around a bit when I'm running I'm wondering if anyone has experience with modding their rigs to make them fit better and would like to know what materials you used and on what parts. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I'd prefer not to buy another chest rig (can't return the one I currently have), but if you have any recommendations for smaller chest rigs I'd like to hear them. Bonus question: how do you like to wear your rig? Cheers, |

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

Could put a plate carrier under it or shut stick something in the front or rear (if it has) inner pockets to sort of pad it a little, tightening it up a bit.
Some rigs have belt loops in the bottom you can put a belt in and flip it up inside and that'll give you more adjustment. Otherwise your looking at relocating straps and stuff. Even crappy cordura is rough to sew.
