EMS saturday delivery?

Just wondering if anyone has ever gotten a Saturday delivery from Canada Post or Purolator. I have a package that was sent from Hong Kong that is now in Vancouver. According to the delivery standards, EMS has a 3-5 day delivery time. Today was the 4th day.

I've googled it, and some people have said that CP offers Saturday delivery for EMS, while others say no chance in hell. I'm really anxious because I leave for school Saturday evening, and it would be an awful week knowing that my package had been delivered Monday.

In short, I'm differing to you guys on whether or not I should get my hopes up. XD Know it seems petty.

Remember that when they say 3-5 days, you need to read "3-5 business days

So add 2 days for week-ends.

And that is not door to door shipping time that is 3-5 days from door to customs. Customs in vancouver can sit on for a week or more if they want.

It's already passed customs. Anywho thanks for the quick responses, i'll deal with the shitastic week I know ill be hoping for a saturday delivery anyway :P

If you don't have it now, or a delivery card at your door you won't get it Saturday. Unless you have the rarest of all CP carriers, one that works weekends.

It used to be I could go to the post office when I knew a package was there and they'd dig it out for me. I think the bureaucracy has tightened the leash these days.

I do that all the time still. Sometimes CP sends out the notice a day or two after they tried to deliver. The post office I go to, to pick up my packages are nice. The lady there knows my address and doesn't even check my ID because I go there quite often without a notice lool.

lol, I've gotten so many packages in the last month the 2 employees that work the morning and afternoon shifts don't even check my ID anymore.


I may have had EMS saturday delivery before... but it was also during christmas season... in which they deliver stuff saturdays as well.

I ship all the time from asia via ems... though I honestly can't remember anything definitively being delivered on a regular saturday.

Unless your shipper paid extra it ain't cp does Saturday delivery but they charge extra for it.
