G&G m16 questions
First of all sorry for the lack of age verification I'll be 18 in 2 months so I hope to meet all you Edmonton airsoft players soon
In the mean time I'm trying to find out what kind of attachments I should get for a G&G GR16 R5 (M16 RAS) The first question is should I mount an acog scope directly onto the rifle or should I attach it onto a hand rail, what is more comfortable to look through or is it just aestetics. Secondly what is a good bi-pod to use on an m16 Third of all are lasers really that handy especially once your out in a forest in daylight And lastly what kind of compensators/ silencers do you guys use I was cruising around the threads with pictures of the m16 and I was just wondering what a good compensator would be to get Thanks for reading can't wait to get out there and start playing |

1) Aesthetics, personal choice
2) You wouldn't really need a bipod for an m16, unless you're using it as a DMR or something. 3) Any 14mm anti-clockwise threaded silencer/compensator should be fine. You can look here to see what kind you might like. Quote:

They're kind of helpful but personally, I prefer just using an RDS. It won't show up on them so they won't know someone's targeting them and the RDS still work quite well (depending on what quality you get) outside in the sun. However, this is also the case if you get a good quality laser; it will work outside in sunlight.
If you want to slap one onto your gun for aesthetic purposes and/or feel like you might use it a little bit then get a cheap one. I don't really suggest spending tons of money on them though as their functionality isn't all that great. |

You need to ask the club(s) in Edmonton you'll be playing with to see what they allow for lasers. As Edmonton only plays outdoor, lasers are pretty useless, especially for the ranges you'll be playing at.
And why would you want to put a suppressor on a full size M16? Are you putting in a longer inner barrel or just going for an awkward to handle cool factor look? You do realize they don't really work on airsoft guns I presume.

Ya I realised that with the extra 8 inches the gun is going to be dragging across the ground or constantly be smashing into trees so ya and I know they actually don't suppress sound
