bioval bbb

Greetings.

New to airsoft canada, but not airsoft. Actually, I'm new to Canada. Lived in Switzerland most of my life, and made the jump to Canada, following my job.
Can we get bioval bbb in this country or what? I can't believe some of the stuff being used here. Is there a quality problem you guys find with bioval or am I missing something?

I'm in panic mode..

Thanks people. Awesome looking forum by the way!! I can't wait to learn more about the airsoft community in Canada.

If I remember correctly Bioval shatter into many small, sharp pieces when impacting hard surfaces.

You should try some BB Bastard Currently they're the most perfect BB in Canada.

Lets not get into this lol.

My M14 wouldn't feed Metal Tech (Circa 5 months ago), but it'll feed bastards just fine.

actually I bought a bag of the bbbmax .27 for my snipe. My target was a small alum. disc and those were the only bbs that didn't split or chip. All others did split. Bbbastards excel tm madbull all .25 split in half or pieces. The bioval bbs were the only ones that actually left dents in the metal disc. (this was a moving target at 25feet and 500fps w/.20 btw)

You're thinking of another brand. Bioval is the one that got sent in for lab testing when it started breaking car windshields. Probably harder than some plastic BBs.

My Bad, I thought this was a case where BioVail fed the test subjects BB's instead of Placebo's

Their is a huge mis-perception on Bio BB's in Canada. You will have to get your Biobal BBB's from the States or have friends back home send them to you.

Generally, BB Bastards are Canada's bread and butter, while Metal Tech are close runner ups. Other than that, i would personally go with KSC or Madbul, but with KSC as my primary choice between the two as i have heard that some of the heavier madbulls have a lot of oil and gunk on them.

Wow this forum is great. That is fast feedback!! Thanks,

Bioval Breaking windshields is a bit more like it. These are hard bb's that let you know when you've been hit. The transparency on the BBBmax is incredible. Good luck finding where the bullets are coming from.
These bbb's do not split.

I actually had an opportunity to fire off some of the new BBBFLUO back home. They're being introduced everywhere on the planet this month apparently. I have to tell you that indoor or outdoor combat with these bb's puts you in a whole new world. These bb's are glowing bright, and the cross fire effect during mil sim is nothing short of fantastic.

It sounds like bb bastard has the market here in Canada, but they can not compare to bioval. Our fields back home swear on them. No other bb has had more R&D pumped into it before. They are serious about their quality. Sure I have a bit of home town biased towards them, but performance is performance.

They make crap guns look good.
I guess I will have to get my extended family back home to send me some.

Who makes the bb bastards anyway? Are they re-branded off-shore bb's? Are they biodegradable?

I'll have to compare. Anymore feedback on the availability of locally obtaining the Bioval bbb in Canada would be GREAT!!

Performance, and environmentally responsible. That's what I think.

Thanks again.

BB Bastard aren't rebrands. They're manufactured specifically for the brand to their specs, and have been around for years. They've proven themselves in many, many comparative shooting tests to be the best performing out of anything readily available in Canada. Metal Tech are very similar in the sense they they're also custom-manufacutered and have proven to be top performers.

There is really no market for bio BBs in Canada. There are some available, but most of the time, they're low quality and expensive. And from what I've seen of bio BBs that have been sitting outside directly exposed to the elements for a couple of years, they don't seem to break down very fast, if at all.

I find the whole situation odd. I've gamed for 13 years in asia, and I would say ~90% of the bb's used are bio. If they didnt use bio, they would literally be swimming in bbs given the play style in the mainland (8+ hicaps per person). I havent been to a field in Japan that allowed regular BBs,

I wonder how much of this is due to improper storage of the BBs, or a function of how short the shelf to use time is in asia.

Blackrog, what did they cost you back home? I thought that they were quite expensive relative to other brands...even if you could find them.

Just to clarify. BIOVAL and Bio(Biodegradable) are two different kind of BB's

BIOVAL BB's
