RESIDENT EVIL THEMED NIGHT GAME Oct 24th

Please note this is just a repost, and I am excided about playing. we have about 15 coming at least, more likely we will have closer to 25-35 I think.

Special thanks to TAXI! for setting this all up. Game will be held at Bigfoot Games in Mission BC about 1-1.5 hours from downtown Vancouver. Start time is 7pm, and players should be at the field by 6pm.

Cost is 20$ for humans, 10$ for zombies. Game goes all night.

Number of players

S.T.A.R.S
5-10 members

Umbrella
5-10 members

Zombies
10-20

Umbrella C.E.O.

General tools and utilities needed by all players
(do note this will be a night game)
-flash light (this is a must it will be a night game)
-radio with head set (optional for zombie players)
-paint ball or ballistic approved seal to the face goggles or mask
-clothing with team colors,
- Extra batteries for flash light
-red or orange kill rag

What not to bring

-large knives or bladed weapons, (try to avoid bringing bladed
Weapons to the field, we will be playing at night, some people
Get jumpy, and accidents do happen.)
- saw guns, hi-capacity rifle mags, (grenades, claymores and launchers
Are allowed, but count as part of your 500 round limit, and
Will be ineffective on zombie players,)

Teams and descriptions:

R.P.D. / S.T.A.R.S.

The stars team will be much like a usual delta team, and will be marked by wearing greens tans kakis, and woodland camouflages, as well as possible arm bands/ R.P.D. /S.T.A.R.S. patches

Umbrella,
Umbrella team will be marked by wearing blacks, grays, reds, as well as possible armbands/patches

Zombie players
Zombies will differ from other players, and will usually be able to speed
Stagger at best (tactical walking is allowed), there tactics will mostly
Rely on stealth and hiding in shadows. Also zombie players may cary non firing melee dummy wepons (ex. rubber knives, axes, swords,)

Team objectives
Each team member will recive the list of objectives once the teams have been selected.

Being tagged by a zombie,
Player that is tagged will count as being infected and
Will cost the tagged player one life unless a vaccine is presented
Zombie players will be in what ever Clothing They desire, but will be marked by reflective arm bands (try to avoid Camo and tactical gear as it may lead to confusion
While in play)


General rules for human players:

Ammo. Each player may carry a maximum of three , 2 spare one loaded in pistol, plus an additional 500 rounds to be divided Amongst there individual arms as desired, there will be additional Ammo caches that may be found or unlocked through out the field amounts of ammo will be divided up per team member, by 100 to 200 a package each, there will be many enemies some fast some slow, use your ammo wisely, once its gone it may be a while before you find more,

Note for side arms
No extended mags/or s.m.g.s (e.g. mp5s, mp7s, mp5ks, Macs, Uzis ex.) they can be carried, but each mag will be loaded with the allowed 500 round limit

Objectives and puzzles
There will be a series of doors cubords trunks ect. that need to be unlocked for each team to
Complete objectives, but keys for The locks must be found, and will be hidden through out the field, each team Will a have a series of different doors to unlock as well as there objectives,
The keys and doors will be marked by team logos as well as keys, neither team is to take the other teams keys or camp the other team doors that remain locked. Also there will be enough going on to keep both teams moving, don’t stay any were to long though, you may attract they attention of the undead

Re-spawns and lives
There will be 3 lives for each human player, after being killed you may
Play as a zombie or exit the game, for being infected you may use a vaccine to Heal your self, vaccines will be hidden through out the field and will be UN cracked glow sticks, (color will be determined on the night of the game) after being tagged by a zombie player one may Crack and give the glow stick to the zombie player and have a 15=20 second Get away,

How to kill zombies
On the zombie players there will be a metal target located on there chest (zombie players may not cover there targets or move it from center of mass at any time)

If the target is hit that substitutes as a head shot, and the zombie
Player is killed; the zombie will have a brief dead time of 3-5 minutes, but will return to play after.

Sorry about that. I saw other people posting games, and thought this was the right section to post a zombie style game.

ah yes. i saw that after you said that. i reposted this in there. I'll leave this up for now, if anyone wants to comment on TAXI!'s resident evil game, and/or use elements from it.

Oh snap, this is close to the one in Penticton

A few questions
1) If I get a signed waiver from my parents and I have a friend who's 23 with me (possibly playing) is that okay? or do my parents themselves have to be there.

2)Are rentals available? (for a friend)

3)FOOD?

1) yes everyone signs a waiver. and yes its ok to have your friend sign for you. Just make sure your parents know, and know your older friend will be acting as your guardian.

1a) YOU MUST HAVE GOGGLES or rent them. safety glasses will not cut it. they must seal around your eye.

2) yes, but sign up for FVA forums and reserve one.

3) yes, hotdogs and burgers, pop/water will be available for purchase (like 3-4 bucks) with all the fixings.

Thanks, I might make a trip down there...also I said my parents will sign the waiver.

One more quick question, how far is the bigfoot field from lets say...downtown vancouver?

says in the top, its 1-1.5 hours from downtown depending on traffic. less if your going from say surrey or langley etc.
