Airsoft Innovations Propane Adaptor

Hey guys,

Have the AI adaptor, had it about a week now, and am finding that the tip is starting to flare slightly outward and is quite sharp. I have a feeling that it is starting to do a bit of damage to my O-ring in the mag as has a very slight leak (only hear it when you put the mag up to your ear).

Anyone else had this issue? Should I file the edge a bit to take away the sharpness?

Thanks

Had this issue with mine, due to unproperly seating the nozzle in the fill-valve I guess.
Mine was pretty messed up so I cut the tip and reformed it with a dremel, works well now.

As for your leak, someone might correct me but I doubt it's been caused by this. The external oring is there to help prevent "leak" when filling but shouldn't play a role in keeping the gas in the mag. Some mags don't have this oring at all if I'm correct

Yeah, the o-ring on the outside of the fill valve isn't going to do much as far as leaking once the gas is already in the mag. If you're sure it's leaking from the fill valve I'd try taking it out and inspecting the o-ring that's on the inside of it. Also, be careful unscrewing the valve, I've sheared a few.

Thanks for this! I am looking to find a valve key on a budget or at least cheaper than the $25 ones I have seen online. Suggestions?

I've done this for two models of valves on my pistols... works like a charm
